About The Role
As a Sales Team Lead, you will play a crucial Player-Coach role within Doctify’s core market. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue in your assigned UK region by managing a small team of high-performing Account Executives (AEs) while remaining actively involved in closing larger deals yourself, supported by an SDR.
This position is ideal for a top-performing B2B SaaS AE or Senior Rep who has stepped into a team lead, pod lead, or junior management role and is ready to take ownership of a dedicated regional quota, develop leadership skills, and directly influence Doctify’s next phase of growth.
You’ll be responsible for
Player-Coach Execution: Lead from the front by holding your own personal revenue quota while co-selling, jumping on key prospect calls, and helping your team to win business.
Team Leadership & Development: Directly manage and mentor a team of 2–4 Account Executives. Provide structured 1:1 coaching, pipeline reviews, live deal support, and professional development to help every team member hit target.
Regional Ownership: Take full accountability for your UK region’s quarterly and annual revenue targets, executing territory playbooks and maintaining accurate sales forecasting.
Pipeline & Operational Rigour: Enforce strong CRM hygiene, pipeline accuracy, and deal velocity in close alignment with Revenue Operations.
Vertical Expansion: Help drive market penetration across both core individual consultant practices and expanding healthcare provider verticals in your region.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Marketing, SDR, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handoffs, optimised lead generation, and strong long-term client onboarding.
About you
5+ Years in B2B SaaS Sales: Consistent track record of closing deals and exceeding individual quotas in a fast-paced technology or platform environment.
1+ Years in Team Leadership / Mentorship: Previous experience as a Team Lead, Pod Captain, or Sales Manager leading or mentoring AEs/SDRs. You love seeing others succeed as much as hitting your own numbers.
Hands-On Deal Manager: Demonstrable skill in pipeline building, outbound strategy, objection handling, and closing within B2B SaaS sales cycles.
Data-Informed Approach: Comfortable using CRM analytics, deal metrics, and pipeline stages to coach rep performance and deliver reliable weekly forecasts.
Strong Communication & Influence: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly across reps, cross-functional partners, and executive healthcare stakeholders.
Healthcare Experience (Bonus): Exposure to digital health, private healthcare providers, or health tech platforms is a plus, but not required.
Why Join Us?
Player-Coach Growth Trajectory: The ideal platform to bridge the gap between individual contribution and full sales management under the mentorship of senior commercial leaders.
High Impact: Direct ownership over a core UK territory during an exciting growth phase.
Mission-Driven Product: Scale a SaaS platform that directly improves patient transparency, care quality, and healthcare provider trust globally.
Competitive Package: Attractive base salary, team and individual commission structure, healthcare benefits, and hybrid working options.
